Bakery ‘Kochs up’ kolache to honor moon-bound Artemis astronaut
SUMMARY: Good Dough, a bakery in Galveston, Texas, has created a special pastry called “Koch it to the Moon” kolache to honor NASA astronaut Christina Koch, who is training to become the first woman to fly to the moon. The chocolate-flavored kolache is made with brownie batter and Milky Way candy. Koch, who holds the record for the longest space mission by a woman and was part of the first all-female spacewalk, is a regular customer at the bakery. The kolache is available for the month of August and may return as Koch gets closer to launching or by special order.
