Michael Jackson sexual abuse lawsuits revived by appeals court in California – NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth

SUMMARY: Two men who claim they were sexually abused by Michael Jackson as children have had their lawsuits revived by a California appeals court. Wade Robson and James Safechuck allege that two Jackson-owned corporations had a duty to protect them and were not excused from that duty because they were owned by Jackson. The lawsuits had previously been dismissed, but a new California law that temporarily broadened the scope of sexual abuse cases allowed the appeals court to restore them. The Jackson estate has denied the allegations, and both men testified during Jackson's 2005 criminal trial that they had not been abused.
