Company behind fair’s new scanners defends equipment

Published

on

www.youtube.com – FOX 4 Dallas-Fort Worth – 2023-10-19 08:36:39

SUMMARY: An individual accused of shooting three people at the Texas State Fair did not have a license to carry a firearm. However, the company that provided new weapons detection scanners to the fair is standing by their equipment. The scanners are designed to ignore items like keys or phones, but specifically detect weapons. The fair does not track data on confiscated guns or weapons at their gates. It is unclear whether the accused shooter passed through one of these gates. The company that provided the scanners claims that the weapon allegedly used in the shooting would have been detected 100% of the time.

The company that supplied the State Fair of Texas with weapons scanners is defending its equipment following last weekend's shooting. A gunman shot three people in the food court. #StateFairofTexas #shooting #technology

Was “big boy” press conference enough to save Biden?

Published

on

www.youtube.com – FOX 4 Dallas-Fort Worth – 2024-07-12 09:46:39

SUMMARY: President Biden addressed his leadership capabilities during a conference after the NATO Summit, where he had both positive moments and some stumbles, such as mistakenly referring to Vice President Kamala Harris as “Vice President Trump.” He seemed more comfortable discussing serious foreign policy issues and downplayed concerns about scaling back his schedule. While some Democrats were frustrated, feeling his performance bought him more time rather than solidifying his re-election bid, Biden is now focused on engaging in more direct campaigning. Meanwhile, the Republican National Convention looms, with uncertainties surrounding former President Trump's VP announcement adding to the suspense.

FOX News Sunday's Shannon Bream talks about Joe Biden's “big boy” press conference on Thursday and why some Democrats are frustrated that it didn't go worse.
