HOU jet collision: Crews ignored two warning stops before crashing with another plane, NTSB report states

SUMMARY: The National Transportation Safety Board released a report on the private jet crash at William P. Hobby Airport on October 24. The report revealed that the jet ignored two warnings to stop moving before crashing into another small plane. The crew believed they were cleared for takeoff when in reality the air traffic controller told them to wait. The jet took off but returned a minute later and collided with the other plane. No one was injured, but nearly 150 departing and arriving flights at Hobby Airport were impacted. The NTSB is still investigating the crash and going through the black box recording of the plane.
