Israel working to evacuate refugees from Rafah | FOX 7 Austin
SUMMARY: Israel has begun a southern Gaza offensive and is working to evacuate over a million Palestinians from the city of Rafah on the Egyptian border. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has ordered commanders to prepare for the evacuation ahead of an expected Israeli offensive. President Biden criticized the offensive, urging the Israeli military to take more steps to avoid loss of life. There are concerns about the refugees in Rafah having nowhere else to go, with most living on the streets. The Red Cross says the situation is getting worse every day and is calling it the biggest humanitarian crisis they have seen.

Ask Amy: Can I get money back for internet services that are not working right now?
SUMMARY: Following Hurricane Barrel, many homes and businesses have had power restored, but internet outages persist. AT&T and Xfinity/Comcast customer service is currently difficult to reach, and when contact is made, answers are limited. Comcast reports 975,000 customers lost service post-hurricane, mostly due to power issues, with 355,000 restored and 620,000 still out. Damaged electric lines often imply damaged cable/fiber lines. Customers without service can request credits once restored. AT&T is less specific but working on restoration and has opened mobile connectivity centers for free Wi-Fi. Verizon offers free call, data, and texting for affected areas from July 8-17.
As power is restored to homes and businesses across our area many of you say you still don’t have internet. AT&T and Comcast Xfinity customer service are difficult to reach and when you do get a human on the phone, they don’t have any answers.
