Santa Fe High School mass shooting civil trial postponed
SUMMARY: The start of a Civil Trial involving the 2018 mass shooting at Santa Fe High School has been delayed. Family members of those killed and wounded in the attack are suing the parents of the gunman, but the trial has been pushed back to July 29th. Attorneys for the victims' families have requested more time to review information related to the criminal case against the shooter, who remains incompetent to stand trial. The district attorney has agreed to hand over some information, but will not share evidence from the day of the shooting. The judge wants no further delays and is pushing for the trial to start as scheduled.

Hurricane Beryl Update: Latest on storm’s path
SUMMARY: Barrel's eyewall is closely brushing the south coast of Jamaica but is not expected to make landfall as it parallels the coastline. Winds are at 140 mph, cementing its status as a Category 4 hurricane. Moving West-Northwest at 20 mph, Barrel will pass south of the Cayman Islands with strong tropical storm force winds. It's projected to weaken to a Category 2 before making landfall on the Yucatan Peninsula early Friday. After crossing the Yucatan, it may regain Category 1 strength in the Gulf of Mexico. There remains uncertainty if it will impact northern Mexico or the South Texas coast, particularly around Brownsville or Corpus Christi, by the weekend.
Hurricane Beryl is moving near Jamaica before heading west towards Mexico and possibly Texas. FOX 4's Dan Henry is tracking the storm.
