75-year-old’s Southeast Dallas home hit 100+ times in potential gang shooting
SUMMARY: A former gang member is urging Dallas Police to intensify efforts against gang violence after a group fired 165 shots at a woman's home in southeast Dallas. Captured on her surveillance camera, the attack resembled a war zone, causing extensive damage. This is the second incident at her house in seven months. The Dallas Police Department has been vague, labeling the crime as vandalism and destruction of property without confirming gang involvement. Lamont Leville, the ex-gang member, criticizes this, citing his past to educate youth about the dangers of gang life. Residents remain fearful, hoping for police intervention before fatalities occur.
Laverne Baker says her home's surveillance camera captured the terrifying moments early Tuesday morning as eight people approached and rapidly fired shots.

Tropical Storm Beryl: Updated track, timing for landfall
SUMMARY: Tropical Storm Barl is expected to intensify into a Category 1 hurricane by tomorrow afternoon, affecting the Texas coast between Corpus Christi and Houston, near Port Lavaca by Monday morning. With reduced wind shear, the storm’s center may shift northward, altering its forecast track. A hurricane warning is in effect along the central Gulf Coast, with tropical storm-force winds beginning Sunday and increasing. Significant rainfall is forecast, with 5-10 inches north of Corpus Christi and up to 1.5 feet in isolated areas. Eastern and southeastern counties could see 4-7 inches of rain. Winds and rain will persist into Monday, potentially causing flooding before exiting eastward.
FOX 4 meteorologist Ali Turiano takes a look at the latest timing for Beryl to make landfall in Texas and an updated track once it makes landfall.
