2 Dead, 1 Critically Injured in Plane Crash Near McKinney National Airport

A 1980 twin-engine Cessna 414A, owned by Hunger Relief Ministries in Forney, crashed into a dirt mound shortly after taking off from McKinney National Airport, near County Road 317. The crash, reported around 10:30 a.m., resulted in the death of two people, while a third person remains in critical condition at Parkland Hospital in Dallas. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) are conducting the investigation. The victims’ identities have not been disclosed. Construction workers on-site attempted to extinguish the resulting fire.

Dallas Police Investigating Officer-Involved Shooting that Left 1 Dead, 2 in Custody
