Woman seen leaving Shell gas station on South Post Oak Road after giving birth to baby found dead in restroom, Houston police say

SUMMARY: A newly-released surveillance shows a woman leaving a gas station restroom where a newborn baby was found dead four months ago in Houston, Texas. The video shows a Hispanic woman, believed to be the mother, entering the restroom and leaving in a white Cadillac about 15 minutes later. The woman has not been charged but is wanted for questioning. Police are looking for more information from the woman to determine if she may have had a stillbirth. The cause of death is still pending verification and authorities are hoping the public can help identify the woman.

SUMMARY: Central Texans are contributing fans and funds to Family Eldercare's Summer Fan Drive to keep people cool amid the summer heat. Donations of box fans can be dropped off from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at various locations including KXAN and Roger Beasley Mazda dealerships. Additionally, online donations are accepted. Family Eldercare, an Austin-based organization, has hosted this drive for over 30 years, providing vital support such as case management and housing services. Last year, the initiative raised over $231,000 and collected 740 fans. As of July 5, Family Eldercare had distributed nearly 4,000 fans, helping over 6,000 people in Texas.
