Man connected to homicide shot and killed in Dallas, US Marshals say – NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth
SUMMARY: On August 7th, the U.S. Marshals Service – North Texas Fugitive Task Force was involved in a fatal shooting incident. The individual who was shot and killed, Corey Wayne Thomas, was wanted by the Dallas Police Department for homicide. No Task Force personnel were injured. The Dallas Police Department's Special Investigations Unit is conducting their investigation into the incident, and afterwards, the U.S. Marshals Service will conduct their own internal review. Thomas was wanted for a homicide that occurred on July 24th on Mentor Avenue.
