Beyonce’s mom’s Galveston beach house being called ‘nuisance’
SUMMARY: Tina Knowles, Beyoncé's mom, owns a beach house in Galveston valued at $1.4 million, which has deteriorated severely since Hurricane Ike struck nearly 16 years ago. Despite repairs, the house, now on the beach, is considered a nuisance by Pirates Beach residents and the City of Galveston and poses public safety risks. The city is moving forward with a demolition order, offering $150,000 for relocation. Initially admired by neighbors for her celebrity status, the prolonged disrepair has changed perceptions.
