Delta to launch new nonstop from Austin to Harlingen in October

SUMMARY: Delta Air Lines will introduce a new nonstop route from Austin to Valley International Airport in Harlingen starting October 7, marking its fourth new route from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) this year. The daily flights will depart Austin at 10:40 a.m. and return from Harlingen at 12:40 p.m. Delta's new Harlingen route follows recent launches to McAllen, Midland/Odessa, and Nashville. Delta is AUS's third-largest airline by passenger traffic, having flown over 900,000 passengers from January to April, a 19% increase from the previous year. Other airlines have also introduced six new routes from AUS, including international flights to Monterrey and Montreal.
