Georgetown ISD gets top fiscal grade from state

SUMMARY: The Georgetown Independent School District in Texas has received an “A” rating for “Superior Achievement” in the state's financial accountability system. The district's financial management has also been recognized with an “Aa1” rating from Moody's and an “AA” rating from S&P Global ratings, indicating a low credit risk and strong financial capacity. The district sees this rating as a testament to its accountability in utilizing taxpayer dollars effectively.
