Hays CISD releases video from deadly bus crash

SUMMARY: The Hays Consolidated Independent School District released a of a crash between a school bus and a concrete truck that resulted in two deaths. The victims were a five-year-old student on the bus and a 33-year-old doctoral candidate at the University of Texas at Austin. The video shows the bus returning from a field trip when the truck veered into its lane, causing the collision. Parents expressed their emotional devastation, as many of the students were on their first field trip. The dash camera footage captures the collision from the bus driver's viewpoint, highlighting the tragic event that occurred on SH 21.

Dallas Police Investigating Officer-Involved Shooting that Left 1 Dead, 2 in Custody

SUMMARY: Dallas police are investigating an officer-involved shooting that occurred around 1 a.m. on South Lancaster Road. Three robbery suspects fled an illegal game room and encountered officers.
