Houston Police Department’s new assistant chief under investigation for missing city property valued at $25K, docs say

SUMMARY: An Austin man, 69-year-old Scott Sims, died while hiking in the Grand Canyon National Park, according to the National Park Service. The National Park Service advises against hiking the inner canyon between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. due to extreme temperatures that can reach over 120 degrees Fahrenheit.
