Lane closures on I-35 at Williams Drive begin Sunday

SUMMARY: The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) has announced lane closures on Interstate 35 due to construction. The closures will take place on Williams Drive, with the left lane of Northbound I-35 closed from State Highway 29/University Avenue exit to Northwest Boulevard from Sunday, Oct. 1 through Monday, Oct. 2. Other closures include the left lane of Northbound I-35 from the San Gabriel River to Northwest Boulevard on Sunday night, and reduced to one lane from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. The Williams Drive bridge at I-35 will also be closed nightly from Sunday to Thursday. All closures are weather dependent.

‘Firecracker Open’ shows off new improvements to Lions Municipal Golf Course
