New faces, new struggles, new celebrations in ‘Welcome to Wrexham’ season 2

Lake Travis boys finish fourth in national high school golf tournament

SUMMARY: The Lake Travis Cavaliers, winners of the UIL Class 6A boys golf championship, finished fourth at the 2024 PGA High School National Golf Invitational in Frisco, Texas. Lake Travis scored 1-over 865 across three rounds, playing both courses at the PGA complex and an additional course in McKinney. Player Mackey Bennett tied for 19th with a 3-under 213, leading the team. Other team members included Elijah Galvan, Bennett Kuhns, Jack Watters, and Luke Nolan. Wimberley’s Jaxon Donaldson tied for 41st, and Vandegrift will compete in the girls’ tournament starting July 8.
