North Texas bird owner attempts to rescue macaw from tree – NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth

SUMMARY: A North Texas bird owner is seeking help to rescue his 15-year-old Macaw named Samba, who flew away during a photoshoot at Lewisville Lake. Despite efforts to lure Samba back, he remains stuck in a tree. The owner, Giulio Ferrari, is looking for someone with the equipment to help retrieve the bird, as this is not Samba's first escape. The Lewisville Fire Department attempted to rescue the bird but was unsuccessful. Ferrari is hoping for a cherry picker or boom lift to help bring Samba back down to safety. As of Monday night, the Macaw is still stuck in the tree.
