Rat infestation discovered at shopping center on South Mason Road in Katy getting cleaned up after family takes video

SUMMARY: A Katy family dining out encountered a rat infestation at a shopping center in Texas. Arnold Delbosque posted a online showing the rodents surrounding trash cans behind a restaurant. Harris County Public set up traps and discovered a sick and dying rat in a dumpster behind the establishment. Another decomposed rat carcass was found at the back of the building. Both rodents were removed, and the property manager was contacted to have the area treated. The health department will conduct a follow-up inspection within 10 days to ensure the property has been properly treated. Delbosque is glad that the issue is being addressed for the community's sake.
