SUMMARY: The Department of Justice (DOJ) is reportedly preparing to sue Texas Governor Greg Abbott over the state's latest border security initiative, Operation Lone Star. She explains that the state's warm climate supports year-round fly activity, with heat accelerating their life cycle, leading to rapid population growth. Climate change is likely worsening the issue, as higher temperatures benefit flies and expand their habitable areas. To manage the infestation, Brown suggests regular trash removal, using outdoor garbage bins, and cleaning these bins with dish soap to eliminate fly-attracting odors.
