1 man dead, another injured after shooting stemmed from argument in Alief Amity Park in west Houston, HPD says
SUMMARY: The Houston Police Department responded to a shooting at Alief Amity Park in West Houston on Saturday evening, resulting in one fatality and another injury. The incident occurred around 7:32 p.m. on a basketball court and stemmed from an argument among three men. One man was struck over the head with an object, leading to non-life-threatening injuries, while another was fatally shot. Throughout the altercation, gambling was taking place in the park.
