ASFF Managing Director Austin Waldo shared that the school, established in 2018, offers classes from beginner woodworking to fine furniture making. Before the nonprofit designation, community classes were offered on a pay-what-you-can basis. The new status allows ASFF to grow its programs, including scholarships and tool stipends, and receive tax-exempt donations.
