Two dead after officer-involved shootings overnight in Fort Worth – NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth

SUMMARY: Two armed men were shot and killed by a police officer and an arson investigator in Fort Worth. The officers were investigating illegal fireworks activity when they came across an altercation. Both officers fired their weapons after seeing the armed men, and the men died at the scene and at the hospital, respectively. Two other individuals with gunshot wounds were also found nearby and taken to the hospital. The shootings are being investigated, and the officers involved will be on administrative leave. The shootings occurred just after three people died and 11 were shot at ComoFest in Fort Worth.
