SUMMARY: At least 18 people were killed and 13 injured in two mass shootings in Lewiston, Maine. The victims include a volunteer youth bowling coach, a bar manager, and several others whose families have confirmed their deaths. Bob Violette, a retired man who coached the youth bowling league, was known for encouraging children and was an integral part of keeping the sport alive. Michael Deslauriers II and Jason Walker were killed at the bowling alley after putting their wives and children under cover. Joseph Walker, the bar manager, was shot while going after the gunman with a butcher knife. Other victims include Bill and Aaron Young, Billy Brackett, Tricia Asselin, Peyton Brewster-Ross, Bryan MacFarlane, Ron Morin, Joshua Seal, and Arthur Strout.

Dallas Police Investigating Officer-Involved Shooting that Left 1 Dead, 2 in Custody
