Cricket fans pack Grand Prairie Stadium for first-ever MLC match

The latest update at 1:00 PM shows it remains a tropical system, but it’s projected to intensify into a Category 1 hurricane near the Texas coast, particularly around Corpus Christi and Victoria. A storm surge of 3 to 5 feet is expected along the coast, and a hurricane watch is in effect with potential winds of 75 to 120 mph. Heavy rainfall, flash floods, and thunderstorms are anticipated from Sunday into Monday with variable rain amounts across regions.
