SUMMARY: The National Hurricane Center's 7:00 advisory continues tracking Tropical Storm Barrel in the warm Gulf waters with sustained winds of 60 MPH and northwest movement at 12 MPH. The pressure is rising from yesterday. Barrel is expected to strengthen to at least a Category 1 hurricane before making landfall east of Corpus Christi on Monday morning or midday, with potential to reach Category 2.
