Hays County district clerk resigns | FOX 7 Austin
SUMMARY: Avery Anderson, elected at 19, faced numerous issues during his tenure, including failing to send jury summons, subpoenas, and protective orders. A hearing was held last month to consider his temporary removal, but Anderson resigned instead, avoiding a potentially embarrassing trial.
