SUMMARY: Bright by Text is a national text messaging service for parents and caregivers of children aged 0 to 8. It sends messages about reading, social-emotional learning, activities, and parenting tips. In the Austin area, it also provides information about free activities for parents and children. The service is used by non-profits to inform parents about free events and resources, such as back-to-school fairs and free haircuts.
