Hunter Biden convicted of 3 felony charges in federal gun trial
SUMMARY: A federal jury convicted Hunter Biden, President Biden's son, on three felony gun charges for lying on a gun purchase form about not using or being addicted to drugs. He faces up to 25 years in prison, with sentencing pending. Fox's Rebecca Caster reported that Hunter showed little emotion in court but later expressed his appreciation for his family's support. Jurors emphasized their decision was based on facts, not politics. Special counsel David Wise highlighted that the case focused on Hunter's illegal choices during his addiction. Separately, Hunter faces a federal tax evasion trial in September.
Jurors found President Joe Biden's oldest son guilty of lying to a federally licensed gun dealer, making a false claim on the application by saying he was not a drug user and illegally having the gun for 11 days.

Hurricane Beryl tracker: Where the storm is headed
SUMMARY: A severe storm named Barrel is impacting areas near Houston with tornado warnings issued east of Liberty. Earlier, Galveston experienced a tornado and a 94 mph wind gust around Freeport. Although the storm's eye is beginning to fill in, it remains strong, moving north towards Houston's western suburbs. Unexpectedly, four days ago, no computer models predicted this path. Those models serve as guidance, not absolute truth. The storm is projected to track into East Texas and the Arklatex, avoiding our area but bringing significant rainfall, with 6-10 inches already near the coast and heavy rain extending to regions like Palestine and Red River County.
Hurricane Beryl made landfall on Monday morning, knocking out power to thousands along Texas' Gulf Coast. FOX 4's Evan Andrews is tracking the storm and telling you where it is headed next.
