SUMMARY: Investors in Lake Travis LLC, managing a planned community property, have filed a petition in Travis County District Court seeking a temporary injunction to halt foreclosure of the property. Jonathan Jenkins, the LLC's manager, defaulted on multiple multi-million dollar loans, causing financial turmoil. Investors, including J. Bondari who invested $3.5 million, allege unfulfilled promises and poor communication. A stop-work order issued in November 2021 remains unresolved due to permit disputes. The petition accuses Jenkins of mismanaging funds, redirecting them to other projects like Creekside in Bastrop. If foreclosed, investors will lose their principal investment and the promised homes.

Investors in Neu Community believe they have been duped by a ponzi scheme. 7 On Your Side reporter Carissa Lehmkuhl has the details.
