SUMMARY: A sexual assault lawsuit against Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott has been dismissed by a Colin County judge. The decision follows a police investigation that found no evidence of a crime. Prescott's accuser, Victoria Shores, claimed he assaulted her outside a strip club in 2017. Prescott sued her, alleging extortion, and she counter-sued, but her lawsuit failed. There remains a criminal investigation into Prescott's extortion allegations against Shores. Prescott's lawyers labeled the lawsuit a “money grab” and announced intentions to donate any proceeds from civil claims to charities supporting true survivors of sexual assault. A hearing is scheduled for September 13 to determine potential sanctions against Shores and her legal team.

A Collin County civil court judge dismissed the sexual assault and defamation claims made against Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott.
