SUMMARY: An alarming new report reveals that teenage boys are increasingly targeted for financial sextortion online. Callahan Wall from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children explains that predators catfish minors into sending explicit images, then blackmail them for money or services. Boys, comprising 90% of victims, are targeted both on social media and gaming platforms by criminals and criminal enterprises. These actions have driven some victims to suicide. Wall advises parents to understand technology, set ground rules, and maintain ongoing safety conversations with their children to prevent such exploitation. Schools and social media platforms also need to ensure user safety.

SUMMARY: Back in March, Shiron Robinson underwent a veneer procedure at Forever Veneers, an unlicensed Houston clinic, which cost him $8,700. Misled by their Instagram page boasting 54,000 followers and seemingly satisfied clients, Robinson flew from Rhode Island for the procedure. Post-treatment, he experienced severe issues including trouble chewing, open pockets in his gums, and a veneer coming off. It was revealed that Jaden Moror, who performed the procedure, lacked a dentistry license and now faces felony charges. Robinson continues to face significant dental problems and financial strain, seeking further dental care while cautioning others against misleading social media advertisements.
