Police investigating Oak Cliff hit-and-run
SUMMARY: A father of four, Ralo Alias, was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Oak Cliff, Dallas, close to his home while returning from work on his motorcycle. Surveillance footage captured a speeding SUV striking him and driving away without stopping. Alias later died in the hospital. His widow, Jessica Cardona, expressed her grief, highlighting their 20-year relationship and their recently purchased home for their family. She hopes for justice and urges anyone with information to come forward. Dallas Police have not released a description of the suspect vehicle, but footage suggests it has heavy front-end damage. The investigation remains ongoing.
Jessica Cardona says her four daughters would always wait for their father to get home from work. Friday, 36-year-old Rodolfo Elias never made it through the front door.

Texas Chick-fil-A shooting: Loved ones remember grandmother, father of 4
SUMMARY: Family members of Patricia Portillo, 49, and Brian Gdy, 31, who were killed in a Chick-fil-A shooting, left fresh flowers and spoke publicly for the first time. The two victims' loved ones formed a prayer circle at a memorial on MacArthur Boulevard. Irving Police reported that Ed Bernardo Mendoza Arua, a 37-year-old Salvadoran, targeted the victims in a shooting. Portillo left behind a daughter and grandchildren, while Gdy, who moved from Guatemala, supported his wife and four children. The motive remains unclear, although Arua's wife, an employee at the Chick-fil-A, identified him as the gunman.
Loved ones of 49-year-old Patricia Portillo and 31-year-old Brayan Godoy held hands in prayer around the small memorial in front of the Chick-fil-A where they were shot and killed earlier this week.
