SUMMARY: In Old Settler's Park, a display of 4,000 flags has been set up to remember 9/11. 2,977 flags represent the people who died on that day, while the others honor the Texas men and women who lost their lives fighting in the war on terror. The display also pays tribute to those who are still unaccounted for, including a military dog named Mini who struggled with PTSD. The Texas Fallen Project assisted in setting up the flags, and the founder encourages everyone, especially families, to visit and reflect on the past to prevent similar events from happening again.

A sea of red, white and blue paints Old Settlers Park in Round Rock. About 4,000 fags were planted in the park by the Texas Fallen Project, each one representing a person lost because of 9/11.
