Sex offender in Mesquite kidnapping case found living near parks, schools
SUMMARY: Doyle Tipton, a registered low-risk sex offender in Hunt County, is accused of attempting to kidnap and sexually assault a 10-year-old girl near his secondary address in Dallas County. The girl, who had been reported as a runaway, managed to escape and sought help at a nearby fire station. Tipton, who has a history of multiple sex crime convictions, reportedly tried to drive the girl away in a red van after picking her up.
