Two killed in wrong way crash on Dallas North Tollway
SUMMARY: Two people have died in a wrong-way crash on the Dallas North Tollway. The accident occurred early Saturday morning near Wycliffe Road when one driver was going the wrong way and hit a truck head-on. The driver of the truck, 55-year-old George Battle, was killed in the crash. The wrong-way driver, 27-year-old Connor Stare, also died. Family and friends remember Battle as a great person who made an impact on many people. Due to several deadly wrong-way crashes along the tollway, safety features including warning lights and signs have been implemented. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
Texas Department of Public Safety investigators said the driver of a Mazda, 27-year-old Connor Steyer, was driving northbound in the southbound lanes. Steyer's vehicle crashed head-on with a Ford F-150 that was driven by 55-year-old Jorrick Battle. Both Battle and Steyer were pronounced dead. #dallas #news #crash
